Ask Claude or ChatGPT about your money

Connect the AI app you already use to Wonderful, and ask it about your plan, your spending and your bills in its own chat. It reads what you see in Wonderful, as you, and can't change anything.

Works with ChatGPT, Claude and more

How to connect

Open Wonderful, then Settings, AI apps. Pick your app and follow its one step. Then sign in to Wonderful when it asks and press Allow.

  • Claude (web, desktop and phone): one button opens Claude with Wonderful filled in. Press Add, then Connect. Works on every Claude plan; on Free it's your one custom connector. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds it first.
  • ChatGPT: on chatgpt.com, open Plugins, press +, then Add custom MCP server. Name it Wonderful, paste Wonderful's address, tick the box and press Create. Needs ChatGPT Pro, Business or Enterprise, set up on the web.
  • Poke: one button opens Poke with Wonderful filled in.
  • Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and VS Code: a command or button in Settings, AI apps.
  • Any other app that takes a custom connector by address: use https://mcp.wonderful.money/mcp.

Things to ask

  • What can we spend this week?
  • What's due before my next paycheck?
  • Anything odd in my charges this month?
  • How did we do on groceries compared to last month?

What it can see

What you see in Wonderful: your plan, spending and transactions, bills, accounts and net worth, taxes, reminders and what you've told Wonderful to remember. Email addresses are taken out and long numbers are cut to their last four before anything is sent. An account your partner set to totals only or hidden stays that way.

What it can't do

Change anything, move money, or see anything you can't. Changes stay in Wonderful, where you make them yourself.

Where your questions go

What you ask, and what Wonderful sends to answer it, goes to that app's company under its own privacy policy. Wonderful keeps only which tools the app used and when, never the question or the answer. More in the privacy policy.

Disconnecting

Settings, AI apps, Connected apps, Disconnect. It stops at once, even mid conversation. You can also remove Wonderful in the app itself, but disconnecting in Wonderful is what cuts it off.

If something's off

  • It asks you to sign in again: that's normal after a long break or a disconnect. Sign in and press Allow.
  • “This app was disconnected”: it was disconnected in Settings. Connect it again from Settings, AI apps.
  • “Too many questions at once”: wait a minute.
  • “No Wonderful household for this sign in”: sign in with the email you use for Wonderful.
  • An answer looks wrong: check it against Wonderful, and tell us from Feedback in the app.
