How to cancel FYE Backstage Pass

How to cancel an FYE Backstage Pass membership: where FYE says to cancel, the same-day refund rule, the VIP free trial and the support number it lists.

FYE says a Backstage Pass membership is cancelled at the store where you bought it, and that you only get a full refund if you cancel on the day you bought it, with a receipt. For the VIP plan, FYE's pages list a Backstage Pass support line for cancellation and refund questions.

Cancel FYE Backstage Pass at the FYE store

Go to the FYE store where you bought the membership.
Ask to cancel the Backstage Pass membership.
Bring your receipt, which FYE requires for a refund.

FYE's page says you may cancel at that store. It does not describe cancelling online.

Before you cancel FYE Backstage Pass

A full refund is available only if you ask to cancel on the same day you bought the membership, and you need the receipt.
After that day the fee is non-refundable, and FYE says partial refunds of the membership fee are not available.
Backstage Pass VIP is listed at $13.99, renews monthly and is billed straight to a credit card. Its listing mentions a seven-day free trial.
Backstage Pass Platinum is listed at $25, renews annually and must be bought at an FYE store.
FYE says promotions and discounts are not applied to the cost of the membership.

After you cancel

Keep the confirmation email or screenshot. Then watch your bank or card for the next billing date: if FYE Backstage Pass charges you again after you cancelled, ask FYE Backstage Pass for a refund first, and if that fails, dispute the charge with your card.
