Before you cancel Planet Fitness
- To stop billing on your next monthly billing date, cancel at least 7 days before it. To stop the annual fee, cancel at least 7 days before the annual fee date.
- If your membership has a minimum term and it ends before the end of that term, a $58 buyout fee is required.
- You can find your billing dates by logging in to the member portal at planetfitness.com or on your membership agreement.
- Some policies and procedures may vary by location based on state and local guidelines. Planet Fitness says to contact your home club with questions.
- Your home club is also the best source of billing and membership information, according to Planet Fitness. If it is closed, member services is open Monday through Friday, 9 am to 6 pm Eastern.

Keep the confirmation email or screenshot.
