Cancel an Apple subscription on an iPhone or iPad
- Open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap the subscription.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. You may need to scroll down to find it.
Apple says Apple Vision Pro uses the same steps.
Cancel an Apple subscription on a Mac
- Open the App Store and click your name in the sidebar. Sign in first if you are signed out.
- Click your name on the page that appears, and sign in again if asked.
- Click Subscriptions.
- Click the subscription, then click Cancel Subscription.
Cancel an Apple subscription on the web
- Go to account.apple.com/account/manage/section/subscriptions in any browser.
- Sign in with your Apple Account.
- Follow the onscreen instructions.
Cancel an Apple subscription on a Windows PC
- Open the Apple Music app or the Apple TV app.
- Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then choose View My Account.
- Next to Subscriptions in the Settings section, click Manage.
- Find the subscription, click Edit, then click Cancel Subscription.
Older iTunes for Windows works similarly, from the Account menu.
Cancel an Apple subscription if you can't find it
- Search your email for a receipt or invoice from Apple.
- Check which Apple Account is on the receipt. If it is another account of yours, sign in with it and cancel there. If it is a family member's, ask them to cancel.
- If there is no Apple receipt, the subscription may be from another company. Check your bank or card statement, then contact whoever bills you.
- If a wireless carrier or other provider bills it, contact that provider.
Apple's page says an AppleCare plan may need to be finished and linked to your Apple Account before it can be canceled.
Before you cancel an Apple subscription
- Cancel from the Apple Account that pays. Settings, your name, Subscriptions lists everything active and expired on that account, so check each Apple Account you use.
- If there is no Cancel button, or you see an expiration message in red text, Apple says the subscription is already canceled.
- For a free trial you don't want to keep, Apple says to cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- You can't cancel a family member's subscription. Ask the family member whose Apple Account is on the receipt. If another Apple Account of yours is on the receipt, sign in with that one.
- If Apple Music or Apple TV is billed through Google Play on Android, cancel it in the Google Play app. If the subscription came from a wireless carrier or another provider, contact that provider.
- Apple says cancellation works differently in Germany, Israel, South Africa and Türkiye.
- The Apple Support page linked below does not say when billing stops or whether you keep access to the end of the period, and points to Apple's Sales and Refunds page for refunds. Check the date shown on the subscription's own page.
After you cancel
Keep the confirmation email or screenshot. Then watch your bank or card for the next billing date: if an Apple subscription charges you again after you cancelled, ask an Apple subscription for a refund first, and if that fails, dispute the charge with your card.
