- Open the cancellation help link in section 3.2 of Headspace's terms and conditions.
- Follow the instructions there for your account.
Cancel Headspace by email
- Email help@headspace.com and ask to cancel your subscription.
Before you cancel Headspace
- The terms say you must cancel before the subscription renews to avoid billing.
- The terms say cancelling a monthly subscription takes effect at the end of the monthly period, and an annual one at the end of the annual period.
- Monthly subscriptions renew on a 30-day cycle and annual ones on a 365-day cycle until you cancel.
- A free trial converts to a paid subscription after the trial unless you disable the automatic conversion.
- The terms say you have no right to a refund for a subscription unless the law requires one.
- If you subscribed through Apple or Google, cancel in that store's settings. The terms say those sales are final and Headspace does not provide a refund. See /cancel/apple-subscriptions and /cancel/google-play.
After you cancel
Keep the confirmation email or screenshot. Then watch your bank or card for the next billing date: if Headspace charges you again after you cancelled, ask Headspace for a refund first, and if that fails, dispute the charge with your card.
