How to cancel Hims

How to cancel a Hims subscription in the app or on the website, why to do it 48 hours before your next order, and what cancelling does not stop.

In the Hims or Hers app or on the website, open Subscriptions, choose Manage, then Discontinue plan and Cancel Subscription. Hims asks you to do it at least 48 hours before your next order date. Cancelling does not stop an order that is already processing or shipped.

Cancel Hims in the app

Open the Hims or Hers app and log in.
Tap the profile icon in the top right corner of the homepage.
Select "Subscriptions."
Below the subscription you want to cancel, select "Additional Options > Manage Subscription."
Select "Discontinue plan > Cancel Subscription."
Follow the prompts to finish.

Cancel Hims on the website

Open the Hims or Hers website and log in.
Click the "Subscriptions" tab along the top menu.
Next to the subscription, click "Manage."
Under "Get help," click "Additional Options > Manage subscription."
Click "Discontinue plan > Cancel Subscription."
Follow the prompts to finish.

Before you cancel Hims

Cancel at least 48 hours before your next order date. You can see that date in your online account.
Cancelling does not cancel an order that is already processing or has shipped.
If you have more than one subscription, repeat the steps for each.
Some treatments auto-renew. To turn that off, go to Subscriptions, Manage, Additional Options, Adjust my plan. The subscription then shows as scheduled with auto-renew off, and you can turn it back on before your next billing date.
Testosterone customers with lab work ordered but no medication prescribed yet should contact Hims to cancel.
Weight loss and testosterone memberships have their own help article. Hims says cancelling a membership also cancels its medications and you keep the membership's features until the end of the billing period. Cancelling only the medication leaves the membership active and billed.
Hims does not give refund terms on these cancellation pages.

After you cancel

Keep the confirmation email or screenshot. Then watch your bank or card for the next billing date: if Hims charges you again after you cancelled, ask Hims for a refund first, and if that fails, dispute the charge with your card. The guide to disputing a charge has the steps and the deadlines.
