Before you cancel Home Chef
- Deliveries are final at 12:00 p.m. Central. The deadline is Wednesday for Tempo by Home Chef items and Friday for everything else.
- You must pause, skip or cancel before the deadline to not be charged. After it, you receive the delivery and aren't refunded any part of what you paid.
- Skipping a delivery doesn't permanently pause or cancel your subscription.
- For a delivery you skipped, paused or canceled before the deadline, Home Chef says it will give a credit or full refund within 30 days of your request, with proof such as a time-stamped email.
- Home Chef reserves the right to refuse re-subscription.
After you cancel
Keep the confirmation email or screenshot. Then watch your bank or card for the next billing date: if Home Chef charges you again after you cancelled, ask Home Chef for a refund first, and if that fails, dispute the charge with your card. The guide to disputing a charge has the steps and the deadlines.
