Cancel Kindle Unlimited online
- Go to the Cancel Kindle Unlimited page and sign in.
- Select Cancel membership.
Cancel Kindle Unlimited pause instead
- Choose to pause your monthly subscription for one month instead of canceling.
The pause starts at the end of the billing cycle and resumes automatically. You can't pause during a free trial or promotional period.
Before you cancel Kindle Unlimited
- Your membership stays active until the next billing date. After it passes, you lose access to content you checked out.
- For a prepaid gift or bundle membership, Amazon says you won't receive a partial refund for unused months.
- Amazon's page used here doesn't cover Google Play. See /cancel/google-play if you subscribed there.
After you cancel
Keep the confirmation email or screenshot. Then watch your bank or card for the next billing date: if Kindle Unlimited charges you again after you cancelled, ask Kindle Unlimited for a refund first, and if that fails, dispute the charge with your card. The guide to disputing a charge has the steps and the deadlines.
