How to cancel Sling TV
How to cancel Sling TV from Sling's help center: sign in, select Manage, then Cancel. Also what you can still watch, refunds and pausing instead.

Cancel Sling TV online
- Sign in to your account at sling.com/my-account.
- Select Manage.
- Select Cancel.
- Look for the confirmation email.
Cancel Sling TV pause instead of cancelling
- Sign in to your account.
- Select Manage.
- Select See pause options.
A standard pause can last up to 6 months. Pause Extra is 1, 2 or 3 months, and the subscription then restarts on its own.
Before you cancel Sling TV
- Your Sling access continues until the date of your next regular bill, but you won't be charged again.
- Sling does not refund prepaid or partial months. It says refunds are only for special circumstances.
- You can cancel while paused. If you signed up for Pause Extra and cancel before it restarts, the $5 a month deposit is not credited back.
- If you still see a charge, Sling says to sign in and check whether the account shows as canceled (a subscription labeled Expiring soon needs no action), or whether you have a second account under another email.
- A Sling account that only watches Freestream channels is not charged, so there is nothing to cancel.
- If Roku or another partner bills you, see /cancel/roku. Sling's cancel article does not cover partner billing.
After you cancel
Keep the confirmation email or screenshot. Then watch your bank or card for the next billing date: if Sling TV charges you again after you cancelled, ask Sling TV for a refund first, and if that fails, dispute the charge with your card.
