Cancel Spotify Premium on your account page
- Sign in to your Spotify account page.
- Open Manage your plan.
- Select Cancel subscription.
Cancel Spotify Premium by form
- Complete the cancellation form at spotify.com/account/cancel/pdf.
- Send it to Spotify.
Cancel Spotify Premium if a partner bills you
- On your account page, open Manage your plan.
- Check Payment for the partner's name.
- Use the partner's contact link on your account page.
Spotify says this is likely if no change-plan option appears.
Before you cancel Spotify Premium
- Premium stays until your next billing date, then your account switches to free. You keep your playlists and saved music and can still play with ads.
- Cancelling during a zero-priced free trial ends Premium immediately. Those trials can't be reactivated.
- On a Family or Duo plan, the manager cancels. Tell members first, since they lose Premium at the next payment date. A member who follows the steps only leaves the plan.
- Spotify's refund policy says you can cancel any time and keep what you paid for. Premium paid through a partner is refunded by that partner, and store-bought gift cards go back to the store.

After you cancel
Keep the confirmation email or screenshot. Then watch your bank or card for the next billing date: if Spotify Premium charges you again after you cancelled, ask Spotify Premium for a refund first, and if that fails, dispute the charge with your card.
