How to cancel Uber One

How to cancel Uber One in the Uber app, the 48-hour rule before your billing day, what you keep afterward, and the cancel windows for new members.

In the Uber app, tap Account, then Uber One, then Manage Membership, and select End Membership. Uber says to cancel at least 48 hours before your billing day to avoid the next charge.

Cancel Uber One in the Uber app

Tap the Account icon.
Tap Uber One.
Scroll and tap Manage Membership.
Select End Membership and follow the prompt.

Uber's page says you can also cancel online.

Cancel Uber One from Help

In the app, go to Help, then Membership, then Uber One.
Follow the cancel option. If that fails, contact support.

Before you cancel Uber One

Uber says to cancel at least 48 hours before your billing day to avoid the charge for the next cycle. Closer than that, contact support.
On a free trial or a paused membership, benefits end when you cancel. For all other memberships, benefits continue until the end of the current billing period.
For an accidental sign-up, Uber says you can cancel a monthly membership within 48 hours of purchase or an annual membership within 45 days. Refunds are subject to consumer laws, the Uber One Terms and eligibility.
To stop renewal without ending it today, switch off Auto-Renew in your plan.

After you cancel

Keep the confirmation email or screenshot. Then watch your bank or card for the next billing date: if Uber One charges you again after you cancelled, ask Uber One for a refund first, and if that fails, dispute the charge with your card.
