Does FedEx pay weekly or biweekly?

FedEx's own job posting for package handlers says wages are paid weekly, for both full and part time. Here is the wording, and what the posting does not cover.

Checked October 22, 2026

Weekly for package handlers. A FedEx careers posting for a Package Handler in Lewisberry, Pennsylvania lists "Competitive wages beginning at $21.05 paid weekly for both full and part time opportunities." It is one posting, so other roles are not covered.

What FedEx says

These are the employer's own words, from its own pages. We only list an employer when its pages say how often it pays.

  • "Competitive wages beginning at $21.05 paid weekly for both full and part time opportunities." (FedEx Careers, Package Handler (Warehouse like), Lewisberry, Pennsylvania)

Where it can differ

  • The posting is for a Package Handler in Pennsylvania. FedEx does not say there how often drivers, office staff or employees of other FedEx companies are paid.
  • The wage in the posting is that job's. It is not a rate for every FedEx job.

What this means for budgeting

Whoever pays you, the schedule changes how a budget feels. A weekly pay schedule means 52 paychecks a year, so some months have 5 paydays. A biweekly one means 26, which makes two months a year with 3 paychecks. Twice a month (semimonthly) means 24, always on the same two dates. The yearly total is the same either way. Only the timing moves.

Bills tend to come once a month, so it helps to plan from the smaller months and treat the extra paycheck as a bonus. The 2026 biweekly payroll calendar shows which months have 3 paychecks, and biweekly vs semimonthly explains why the two feel different.
