How to cancel Zoom
How to cancel a paid Zoom plan in the web portal, on the Apple App Store or Google Play, from Zoom's support pages, and what happens to cloud recordings.

Cancel Zoom in the Zoom web portal
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an owner, admin or user with billing privileges.
- Click your profile picture or initials in the top-right corner, then click Plans and billing.
- Find the plan and click Cancel Plan.
- Confirm the cancellation. You'll get a confirmation email, and the subscription will show a pending cancellation.
If you have add-ons, cancel each one first the same way.
Cancel Zoom on an iPhone, iPad or Mac (Apple App Store)
- On iPhone or iPad, open Settings and tap your name, then tap Subscriptions and select Zoom.
- Press Cancel Subscription.
- On a Mac, open the App Store, click your name, then Account Settings. Beside Subscriptions click Manage, then Edit beside Zoom, then Cancel Subscription.
Cancel Zoom on Android or the Play Store website (Google Play)
- Open the Play Store app, signed in to the Google account that bought Zoom.
- Tap your account icon, go to Payments and Subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Find Zoom and tap Cancel subscription, then follow the prompts.
- On the Play Store website: click My subscriptions, Manage on Zoom, then Cancel subscription.
Before you cancel Zoom
- The cancellation takes effect at your next renewal date. Zoom says your paid services remain available until the end of your current plan term, and you won't be charged for the next renewal unless you reactivate.
- To undo it, reactivate the plan from Plans and billing before the term ends. Reactivate each subscription separately.
- Canceling doesn't automatically generate a refund. Zoom points to its Terms of Service for refund terms.
- Cloud recordings stay available for 30 days after the paid subscription ends, then they are permanently deleted. Download what you want to keep first.
- You can't cancel in the web portal if you bought through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Cancel there instead. See /cancel/google-play and /cancel/apple-subscriptions.
- If Cancel Plan is grayed out or missing, or another account or organization manages the subscription, contact your Account Executive or use Zoom's Virtual Agent chat and type cancel. A free Basic account has nothing to cancel.
After you cancel
Keep the confirmation email or screenshot. Then watch your bank or card for the next billing date: if Zoom charges you again after you cancelled, ask Zoom for a refund first, and if that fails, dispute the charge with your card. The guide to disputing a charge has the steps and the deadlines.
