Other things Google says it can be

  • A charge from a store you paid through Google Pay carries the store's name. Google says to contact that retailer with questions about it.
  • If you think Google charged you in error, Google's page says to file a dispute with Google at pay.google.com/payments/unauthorizedtransactions.

If it's a subscription you don't want

Cancel it so it doesn't come back:

When to go to your card company

If nothing in your Google account, or the account of anyone who uses your card, matches the date and amount, or Google won't fix a charge that's wrong, contact the bank or card company that issued the card. Credit and debit cards have different rights and deadlines: the guide to disputing a charge has both side by side.
